Overview

Breeze is a combination of simplistic design with highly customizable content. With a light blue and a contrasting black, it’s as eye-catchy as it can get. But don’t be fooled by it’s naive look; breeze is tough as a rock. Designed not to break whatever content you may throw at it; this little theme, bless it’s heart, will look perfectly still and as close as possible in all major browsers no matter what you try to do to it.

Crossbrowser support, semantics and accesibility were priorities when coding breeze. This little theme is guaranteed to make you happy!

ATTENTION: For IE6 support

In order to get IE6 support on your theme (specifically, PNG transparencies), you need to do a few configuration.

If you installed your wordpress blog on the root of your server (i.e. http://www.myblog.com), then you can skin this configuration. If you installed your theme on a subfolder on your domain (i.e. http://www.myblog.com/wordpress), then please do the following:

1. Go to ‘wp-content/themes/breeze‘ and open up ‘ie.css’ on notepad or your favourite text-editor. Search for the next line of code (should be at the very top):

.column-end,
.column-start {
behavior: url('wp-content/themes/breeze/iepngfix.htc')
}

Here, change /wp-content/themes/breeze/iepngfix.htc to the ABSOLUTE url of the breeze folder. For example:

behavior: url('http://myblog.com/wp-content/themes/breeze/iepngfix.htc')
}

2. Go to ‘wp-content/themes/breeze’, open ‘iepngfix.htc’ on notepad or your favourite text.editor. Search for the next line of code:

var blankImg = '/wp-content/themes/breeze/blank.gif';

Here, change /wp-content/themes/breeze/blank.gif to the ABSOLUTE url of the breeze folder. For example:

if (typeof blankImg == 'undefined')
var blankImg = 'http://myblog.com/wp-content/themes/breeze/blank.gif';

3. That’s it. Save and upload both files to enjoy full IE6 support.
